Overview

The Investors’ Seminar - Asia is a platform for European private equity firms to build and strengthen relations with institutional investors in China and South Korea. Full members of the EVCA will join a delegation comprised of policy officials, global investors and EVCA leadership as ambassadors from the European private equity industry to a select group of active and emerging LPs with an appetite for investing in Europe. In 2014, the delegation will meet investors in Beijing on 2 and Seoul on 4 December.

A visa to enter China is required for participants who are not Chinese citizens or passport holders from Singapore, Brunei and Japan. A 72-hour transit visa exemption is available for citizens of 45 designated countries. More information on the transit visa exemption can be found here.

Distinctive features:

  • The European delegation will include leading private equity and venture capital firms. All GPs participating are full members of the EVCA.
  • The institutional investors participating are actively investing in European private equity or have a strong appetite for the region. An advisory task force comprised of EVCA members are leading the LP recruitment to assure that the most relevant institutional investors will be participating in the event.
  • The conference will have an educational agenda for institutional investors on the state of the market, regulatory oversight, and details on the opportunity sets by market, region and strategy.
  • There will be highly interactive sessions with the GP delegation and institutional investors, allowing for more meaningful engage and the building of stronger relationships.
  • Unparalleled, in-person networking between the leading European GPs and the local institutional investors at a high-impact networking event.
