The European Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EVCA) has appointed Steinar Liverud as Member Services Manager.
Steinar will ensure that the EVCA continues to provide services that its members consider valuable and efficiently delivered.
He will also strengthen the membership by encouraging, for example, more investors to join the 100 plus Limited Partners that have joined the EVCA since 2010. This is a key objective of the EVCA’s new Chairman, George Anson of HarbourVest.
Steinar joins the EVCA from Incisive Media where he was Unquote’s Events Sponsorship Manager for six years. Previously, he worked as an arts curator in the UK and Norway.
EVCA Secretary-General Dörte Höppner said: “I am delighted to welcome Steinar to the EVCA. The creation of this new role demonstrates the EVCA’s commitment to professional excellence and providing the best service possible for our members.”
Steinar said: “I am excited to take on this challenging role working for a membership that is truly representative of the whole of European private equity, including General Partners, Limited Partners and key support services.”
