About Policy

Invest Europe encourages ongoing dialogue between the private equity industry, policymakers, regulators, the press and the public to enhance understanding of and support for the industry.

Professional standards are vitally important to demonstrate the industry’s commitment to transparency, accountability and good governance. On joining Invest Europe, all our members agree to abide by a voluntary code of conduct, developed by us and set out in the Invest Europe Handbook of Professional Standards.

Our rigorous, research-based approach is underpinned by our robust data, which is freely available to the public. The Public Affairs team is further supported by expert groups of advisers such as the Invest Europe’s Tax, Legal and Regulatory Committee.

The Invest Europe Public Affairs Executive (PAE) is the main decision-making body behind this work and regularly exchanges information with the Representative Group, which consists of all  Europe’s national private equity and venture capital associations.

We've updated our privacy policy in response to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) effective as of 25 May 2018. You can review our updated privacy policy and if you have any comments please contact us.
