Industry agenda 2019-2024

Share

Invest Europe aims to make a constructive contribution to policy affecting private equity, venture capital and infrastructure investment firms, as well as their investors, including pension funds and insurers.

It is our mission to ensure that our members can raise capital and invest in companies across Europe. That’s because the economy benefits when private equity invests in businesses. Through their activities, our members support employment, drive innovation and foster growth.

Priorities (1) Invest Europe's Chair Thierry Baudon explains how private equity investment benefits Europe.

Our priorities

Invest Europe’s Manifesto below sets out our association's priorities for the next five years. In short, it is our aim to make sure that Europe’s financial ecosystem encourages investment in start-ups and mature businesses alike.

We want to prevent barriers to cross-border capital raising and investment in order to unlock the full potential of the Capital Markets Union for businesses and investors.

Furthermore, it is our goal to enable professional investors, such as Europe’s pension funds and insurance groups, to invest in long-term, sustainable investments that benefit their participants and the wider economy.
