Our Chair

Invest Europe's Chair is chosen amongst Platform Council members and elected on an annual basis by the Invest Europe Board of Directors. The Chair takes ultimate responsibility for delivering the Association’s services and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to represent members and promote their interests in Europe. The Chair is also a spokesperson for the Association and the industry worldwide.

Thierry Baudon established Mid Europa Partners in 1998 and for two decades oversaw its development into one of the leading private equity firms in Central Europe. During that time, Mid Europa raised €5 billion of capital to invest into businesses across the region. Prior to founding Mid Europa, Thierry held senior positions at leading global finance bodies, including the World Bank and the EBRD. He is Vice-Chair of the Mid-Market Platform and Chair of Invest Europe for 2019/20.

Our Board
