Professional Standards Committee

The Invest Europe Professional Standards Committee develops and maintains strong professional conduct guidelines and working practices for the private equity industry in Europe. The Committee's members are drawn from across Invest Europe's membership and make recommendations to the Invest Europe Board of Directors about the strategy, policy and practicalities relating to professional standards, including investor reporting.

The Committee is responsible for Invest Europe’s Handbook of Professional Standards, a regularly updated publication setting out, in its Code of Conduct, the principles of transparency, accountability and governance that our members must abide by. In addition, the Committee is in charge of the Invest Europe Investor Reporting Guidelines, a comprehensive and practical set of guidelines encompassing best practices for investor reporting within the private equity industry. 

The Committee is supported by the Working Group on Diversity.
