In 2025 we continued to support our industry through unpredictable global conditions, while making the case for private capital at the highest policy levels in Europe. This year, there are also snapshots of our work on behalf of different communities – large buyouts, mid-market private equity, venture capital and infrastructure – in addition to the achievements of each Invest Europe department.

Global volatility and unpredictability have become the norm. Geopolitical uncertainty has rarely been higher, while ground-breaking technologies can one moment drive optimism, and the next fuel concerns about negative economic and social consequences. Yet, amidst all the challenges, there are opportunities. A new world order is shining a light back on Europe and also on private capital.
Invest Europe is the voice of European private equity, venture capital, infrastructure funds and long-term investors. We are also, as our name suggests, the champion of investment in Europe. In the second half of 2025, we launched our ‘Investing in Europe’s Quiet Power’ campaign to shine a light on the enduring qualities of Europe and the opportunities in European private capital.
