Conferences
Our 2-day Investors’ Forum (March – Geneva) is a high-end, content-driven LP/GP forum for private equity, distinguished by the calibre of speakers and delegates, quality of discussions, LP-only sessions, and a strong on-stage LP presence.
The networking formats – our rotating LP/GP dinner and extended, informal spaces for exchanges with senior-level delegates from LPs and primarily buyout GPs – are praised by attendees for their effectiveness and exclusivity.
The Venture Capital Forum (October – Amsterdam) is the leading European conference for LPs and GPs engaged in VC activity, with LP-only sessions alongside a rotating LP-GP dinner and curated networking moments. Both LPs and GPs gather to gain insights into the evolution of VC investment and debate the key topics for the future through plenary sessions and sector roundtables. All reinforce the forum’s role as a relationship-centric event for the European VC ecosystem.

Public Affairs & Industry Standards
Invest Europe is the key voice toward European policymakers on private equity, venture capital and infrastructure. We are a constructive partner to EU and international institutions, helping policymakers to understand the positive contribution that our industry makes to Europe’s economy, and how policy affects its ability to make that contribution. Invest Europe provides its LP members with a comprehensive ecosystem, combining a permanent presence in the political and policy framework, with access to key stakeholders, practical knowledge and implementation support.
Invest Europe is equally the guardian of the industry’s professional standards, shaping the principles of ethical behaviour and trust that govern the relationships between private equity managers, LPs and portfolio companies. These include the Invest Europe Handbook of Professional Standards and the regular publication of other pieces of guidance and tools, for example on responsible investment, investor reporting and risk measurement.
The Public Affairs team is supported by expert groups of advisers, including LPs, from across Europe, which share feedback through a number of Committees, Working Groups and Task Forces. Workstreams of particular interest to LPs currently include:
