The upcoming Invest Europe Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) will take place online on 15 June 2026 at 10:00 CEST, with the option for full members to participate in electronic pre-voting between 18 May and 10 June 2026.
As the association’s key annual governance milestone, the OGM plays a central role in shaping Invest Europe’s direction and leadership. Members will be invited to vote on essential matters including the approval of the annual accounts and budget, the appointment of directors and auditors, and other statutory decisions such as amendments to the Articles of Association or the creation and evolution of member platforms. The formal convening notice, to be circulated on 18 May on behalf of the Chair, includes the full agenda, the Annual Report, and the list of Board candidates.
The OGM is also a pivotal moment in the Board cycle, where directors are elected across different classes and mandates, ensuring continuity and balanced representation across platforms. At a time of heightened geopolitical uncertainty and shifting economic dynamics, this leadership role takes on even greater importance. Invest Europe is not only the voice of European private capital, but also a champion for investment in Europe, promoting the continent as a stable, predictable and attractive destination for long-term capital. Through its research, advocacy and campaigns, the association is actively shaping the narrative around Europe’s competitiveness and the role of private capital in driving growth, innovation and resilience. The Board elected at the OGM will help steer these efforts, ensuring the industry is well-positioned to respond to global challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
We strongly encourage all full members to take part, either by joining online on 15 June or by casting votes in advance during the 18 May – 10 June pre-voting period.
Your participation is essential to ensuring that Invest Europe continues to reflect the voice and priorities of its membership and to support the effective governance of our association.
Please reach out to Els Van Dyck for any technical support regarding the online voting platform and to Hennou Mardaga for any additional information.
