In addition to long-term equity and financial expertise, you may be surprised by the directors' portrayals of stimulating working relationships where their private equity investors are described as engaging partners.
As venture capitalists we provide funding to companies that don't get bank loans that are very innovative that commercialize new technologies new products and bring them to their customers. They do get equity from us. We invest for three four five seven ten years sometimes and help the companies to successfully realize their dreams and reach their targets.
Well we have been lucky so far because they really work with us as strategic partners. We do have regular board meetings with them the same as we used to have it before and they also try to connect us with other companies to get generate more business. I think that you know when you put smart investors on your board and you have strategic discussions and you have engaging discussions around what we should be doing what we shouldn't be doing and how can we make the business grow faster and better i think that's always a good thing for any business. so that means that there is a relationship daily or weekly you discuss the things you share with them. The practical aspect of it is you know you do have quarterly or monthly meetings to discuss the strategy to discuss discuss changes in the market or shifts you know in the direction that we may or may not be going.
So i enjoy those conversations. We also have discussions around the financials you know you review those once a quarter you look at you know what are gna costs doing how is revenue growing how many users do you have you know. So there's there's always a little bit of a you know someone else to talk with someone else who's looking at the numbers maybe a little differently than you are based on the fact that maybe they've got 25 other companies in their portfolio and so they've got good patent recognition you know this is working that is working. So i think there's a good ability to have an extra set of eyes looking at key parts of the business and we do that on a regular basis. So i think it keeps us honest and also keeps us thinking.
Joining forces with a private equity would help them a lot to to make the investments they have to do but as well to redefine the visions of the company and to follow the way we need to to to start growing again. And we need companies that invest in promising goodlooking startups or bigger companies or new opportunities and that typically is what private economy does. I think it has become even more important nowadays especially for small to mediumsized companies that want to grow. I think their private equity can really make it make a difference.
