The 2024 Invest Europe Investor Reporting Guidelines are also available as a standalone PDF document. Please download it here.

Private equity is playing an increasingly important role in assisting economic growth and developing stronger, more durable businesses around the world. At the same time, pressure from investors and other stakeholders for greater transparency and understanding about the industry continues to grow.

Ensuring that the level of information provided is enough to be helpful, but not so much as to be a hindrance, is critical. In a world where change is constant and ever more rapid, the goal of the Invest Europe Investor Reporting Guidelines is to enable investors to understand, digest and act on information in a timely manner.

The 2024 Investor Reporting Guidelines have been developed by the Invest Europe Professional Standards Committee. They incorporate the key elements of best practice reporting to investors by private equity managers. This latest iteration builds on the 2018 Guidelines, which themselves were based on the guidance released in 2015, and strengthens Invest Europe’s position as the voice of European private capital.

More general guidance on GPs' reporting obligations to LPs can be found in the Invest Europe Professional Standards Handbook.
