Significantly expanded the scope of the European Long Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) framework, broadening its eligibility criteria and investor base and opening it to fund-of-funds
Opened a new legislative front in the defence of our members’ interests by engaging with the European Commission on the negative externalities for our sector of the agreed Foreign Subsidies Regulation

Invest Europe builds understanding and awareness of private equity and venture capital in Europe and promotes its contribution to jobs and growth. We make the case for investing in Europe and manage the reputation of the industry with policymakers and media/opinion formers.
Expanded Invest Europe’s communication strategy by developing relevant content in close collaboration with members to reinforce our message on the industry’s social and economic contribution, boosting our digital communications and online presence to record levels and new audiences:
Invest Europe proactively engaged with the media, securing 85 mentions throughout the year in outlets such as The Financial Times, Politico Europe, Les Echos and Le Temps, as well as many trade and financial publications such as Sifted, Private Equity International, Private Equity News, Private Equity Wire, Real Deals, and The Drawdown.
2022 has been an outstanding year for social media, seeing a growth in content production and a substantial increase in engagement (+91.6% on Twitter, +21.6% on LinkedIn) compared to 2021
Created and built a GIPHY official verified account in August 2022. Reached 650,000 views with 30 gifs in six months (GIPHY has 700 million active users in the world)

Launch of the brand-new Invest Europe ESG Reporting Guidelines: Setting the industry standard for ESG reporting, the most comprehensive and unique guide on ESG reporting for the European PE/VC industry, including practical guidance, detailed insights, and concrete recommendations for practitioners of all sizes (October 2022)

Review of the Invest Europe Public Affairs governance structure, leading to the creation of a new Invest Europe ESG Committee, which will guide and support the association in its sustainability-related work
Serving as the Secretariat to the IPEV Board, played a key role in updating and publishing the 2022 IPEV Valuation Guidelines
The size of the team remained unchanged compared to 2021, however the rotation of the team offered the opportunity to increase the seniority of the team via (i.) the recruitment of two managers and (ii.) the internal promotion of 3 team members
As part of the broader review of the Invest Europe Public Affairs governance structure, a (re)new(ed) Invest Europe Public Affairs Strategic Committee was created based on the former Public Affairs Executive. Chaired by the Invest Europe CEO, this Committee supports and coordinates pan-European political advocacy efforts on issues that have a direct impact on the industry in Europe
