Roadchef is a leading UK motorway services area (“MSA”) operator, providing essential services across the UK motorway network. As the only permitted commercial presence on motorways, MSAs provide opportunities for motorists to address all their essential needs 24/7. Roadchef operates 30 service areas sides which serve over 52 million customers each year.
Antin acquired Roadchef from Delek Group in 2014. Under Antin’s ownership, Roadchef delivered significant growth through commercial innovation and improvement of the estate. Some of the initiatives include new catering offers, introduction of grocery offering, as well as expanding and upgrading parking and the amenity buildings while simultaneously improving energy and waste efficiency. With an impressive record of being ahead of the sustainability curve, Roadchef was one of the first MSA operators to roll out EV charging points.
