The European Data Cooperative (EDC) is a joint initiative developed by Invest Europe and its national association partners to collect Europe-wide industry data on activity (fundraising, investments, & divestments) and economic impact (Employment, Turnover, EBITDA, & CAPEX).
The EDC platform is jointly owned and operated by the private equity and venture capital associations of Europe. It serves as a single data entry point for their members and other contributors across the continent. The EDC brings together:
Using one platform with a standardised methodology allows us to have consistent, robust pan-European statistics that are comparable across the region.
As a result, we produce the most trusted and comprehensive overview of Europe’s private equity and venture capital markets available, enabling us to better inform fund managers, investors, policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders.
Invest Europe members and data contributors receive dedicated research and data support from Invest Europe’s research team.
Invest Europe membership offers your firm exclusive access to our industry-leading events, globally trusted research and expert regulatory advice. Find out how joining the world’s largest private equity association can benefit you and your organisation.
