The seasoned lecturer of this training course is Hans Haanappel. Hans specializes in financial modelling and valuation analysis. He advises various large & mid-sized privately held firms in valuation, mergers and acquisitions, damage calculations and capital budgeting. He has also been engaged as an advisor in the valuations and financial modelling for several private equity transactions.

This 2-day course focuses on best practices and is aimed at private equity professionals who want to develop practical skills in building forecast models of financial statements in excel starting with the analysis of historical financial performance.
The financial model will be structured from the underlying business drivers and translated into a high quality operating model that result in a fully integrated forecast of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
The course is most suitable for professionals such as Financial Accountants, Controllers, Portfolio Managers, Associates & Analysts who are involved in building financial model to evaluate investment opportunities.
The prerequisites of this course are basic excel, finance and accounting skills. Please note that although excel is used extensively and that maximizing the usage of excel is touched upon to support the modelling, this is not an excel training.

A copy of the bank transfer should be sent together with the application form. To avoid any confusion, participants are requested to indicate clearly their names and addresses on transfer orders and cheques. Confirmation of registration for fees and practical information will be sent after receipt of the application form and payment. For late registrations (see above), we require payment via a credit card.
Cancellation
Cancellations can only be accepted if received (in writing) by 28/02/2021. Fees (less 20% administrative charges) will then be refunded. After this date, delegates will be liable for the full fee.
In case of cancellation, a substitution between members of the same company is still possible at any time.
The working language of the course will be English.
To register for Invest Europe's Financial Modelling course, the candidate should submit the application form and proof of payment. Invest Europe maintains the right to refuse the registration if it is not accompanied by all the supporting documents.
