A deep understanding of asset performance is essential for investors at the best of times, but it takes on even greater importance during periods of intense market disruption and volatility.
The second generation of PME methods - namely the Modified Public Market Equivalent (mPME) and the Public Market Equivalent Plus (PME+) - are the most advanced and reliable methods to benchmark private markets performance.
The second generation PME methods support:
Private-private performance comparisons
Private-public performance comparisons
Analyses of the value created by fund managers
The Applications of the PME Benchmarking Method Live Online Classroom Training provides a detailed demonstration of how the PME+ and mPME methods can be computed and used for benchmarking private markets performance. Delivered by the developers of these methods, this live course will equip you with the knowledge you need to run second generation PME methods for performance benchmarking purposes. Ample time is reserved at each step of the live course for interactive Q&A sessions with the presenters.
The course is designed for both fund investors (LPs) and fund managers (GPs) who would like to learn how to compute the second generation PME methods as a tool for benchmarking private market's performance.
If the PME method is new to you, we recommend that you first follow our Principles of the Public Market Equivalent On-demand E-learning course which provides an analysis of the performance measurement methodologies in private markets and defines the Public Market Equivalent (PME) methodologies.
The training will take place online.
