The focus of this online training is on understanding and applying the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines (Guidelines developed by IPEV Board). As for all specialised courses of Invest Europe Training, the emphasis will be on practical examples, discussion of case studies and day-to-day challenges, with great attention to the specificities of both venture capital and buyout.
The following aspects will be covered:
Development and content of the Valuation Guidelines
Concept of fair value
Selection of the appropriate valuation methodology for investment/negotiation purposes
Investor Reporting Guidelines
Anyone involved in valuation and reporting in the PE and VC industry, including financial officers from private equity companies, fund of funds, or service providers;
Former participants of Invest Europe "Finance and Administration" course, who wish to deepen their knowledge of this subject.
Basic finance and accounting skills: to be able to follow the training effectively, participants should be familiar with common investment valuation techniques such as market approach (multiples, etc.), income approach (DCF), replacement cost approach (net assets), etc.

Payment
Participants are requested to pay by bank transfer or credit card. Registrations sent after 1 June 2026 should be paid by credit card.
To avoid any confusion, participants are requested to indicate clearly their names and addresses on transfer orders. Confirmation of registration and practical information will be sent after the registration is processed.
Cancellation
Cancellations can only be accepted if received by June 1 2026. Fees (less 20% administrative charges) will then be refunded. After this date, delegates will be liable for the full fee.
In case of cancellation, a substitution between members of the same company is still possible at any time
