What is it?

The course programme includes:

This two-and-a-half day course focuses on best practices and is aimed at private equity professionals who want to develop practical skills in building forecast models of financial statements in excel starting with the analysis of historical financial performance.

The financial model will be structured from the underlying business drivers and translated into a high quality operating model that result in a fully integrated forecast of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.

Who should attend?

The course is most suitable for professionals such as Financial Accountants, Controllers, Portfolio Managers, Associates & Analysts who are involved in building financial model to evaluate investment opportunities.

The prerequisites of this course are basic excel, finance and accounting skills. Please note that although excel is used extensively and that maximizing the usage of excel is touched upon to support the modelling, this is not an excel training.

Fees, payment, and cancellation

Payment

Participants are requested to pay by bank transfer or credit card. Registrations sent after 10 May 2026 should be paid by credit card.

To avoid any confusion, participants are requested to indicate clearly their names and addresses on transfer orders. Confirmation of registration and practical information will be sent after the registration is processed.

Cancellation

Cancellations can only be accepted if received by 10 May 2026. Fees (less 20% administrative charges) will then be refunded. After this date, delegates will be liable for the full fee.

In case of cancellation, a substitution between members of the same company is still possible at any time.
