Invest Europe will launch a new online AI Training Series for private market professionals, offering practical guidance on where AI creates value, introduces risk and how to deploy it effectively across the investment lifecycle. Running from 12 November to 3 December 2026, the six-session series covers everything from AI fundamentals and governance to due diligence, workflows and implementation.

The programme opens on 12 November with AI Fundamentals in a PE context, examining where AI earns its place in fund work and where it does not. On 17 November, a hands-on workshop on AI Governance, Risk and Compliance offers a practical framework covering regulation, data confidentiality, MNPI and information barriers. Leadership teams can then build an AI roadmap on 24 November, leaving with a clear pilot plan and a view on platform choice.

The second half of the series turns to day-to-day practice. AI Tools, Workflows and Prompts (25 November) shows how firms can move from ad-hoc prompting to a shared, scalable library. Checking and Quality-Controlling AI Outputs (2 December) includes a lab in which participants break a plausible-looking output and rebuild it correctly, leaving with a verification checklist. The series concludes on 3 December with AI as a Subject of Diligence, helping deal teams assess a target company’s AI exposure and upside and write the AI section of the investment committee memo.

Sessions are aimed at investment professionals, partners, COOs, compliance, legal and IT teams, deal teams and operating partners, with several sessions suitable for all users of AI.

Participants can attend individual sessions or build a tailored learning pathway, with discounts of up to 25% when registering for multiple sessions.
