In less than five years, Amolyt has built a late-stage portfolio of therapeutic peptides with the potential to address significant unmet needs for rare endocrine and related diseases. Eneboparatide (AZP-3601) is a long-acting PTH1 receptor agonist that is a potential treatment for hypoparathyroidism. The company’s pipeline also includes AZP-3813, a peptide growth hormone receptor antagonist for the potential treatment of acromegaly.
Amolyt Pharma aims to deliver life-changing treatments, offering hope to patients worldwide suffering by rare endocrine and related diseases.
Sofinnova Partners stepped in to lead financial support in a critical growth moment, enabling us to accelerate the successful development of Amolyt's therapeutic peptides portfolio with the potential to address significant unmet needs for rare endocrine diseases. We are grateful for the support from our investor syndicate for their continued confidence in our team and for their support of our strategy to build a global and sustainable rare disease company. Now we look forward to developing our portfolio as part of Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, an organization with proven expertise and a successful track-record in bringing innovative therapies to patients with rare diseases.
Amolyt’s success exemplifies the track record of the Sofinnova Crossover Strategy in supporting late-stage biotech through their pivotal stages of growth. We are honored to have been part of Amolyt's journey from a promising startup to a beacon of hope for patients with rare endocrine diseases.
