This is a unique and powerful moment for the private equity industry to come together around responsible ownership. The impact we can have is magnified when we link up with others in the industry. When we all come together as GPs to exchange ideas and align around responsible ownership, sometimes I look around the room and think: between us, the GPs in this room, we are investing trillions of Euros. The magnitude of positive change that we can all drive if we link up together is astronomical, and the potential here is enormous.
When we come together as an industry, we have tremendous power to work together to create a better world, to foster good governance, and enable the building of better businesses. Think of the change we can accelerate in the world if we all committed to certain carbon measurement standards or made certain DEI commitments. Industry partnerships are more important now than ever, and participating and contributing to these initiatives is a priority for Telebook.
We're also excited by the Invest Europe guidelines, which provide a standardized set of metrics drawn from multiple frameworks and which will help promote standardization and efficiency in the industry.
