Typical reasons for uh investors choosing a listed fund are the daily pricing, the daily liquidity, the flexibility in terms of hold periods.

My name is Richard Hickman. I'm a managing director in the London office for harvest partners and I manage the listed fund HVE which stands for Harborvest Global Private Equity.

I think the purpose of a listed private equity fund, particularly one like HVP that is global, that has a a diverse portfolio, is that we're offering the individual investor the opportunity to outperform public markets over the long run.

So for individuals who are saving for retirement or perhaps uh saving for their children's future, locking capital away in a fund like HPPE does offer that outperformance potential which could be transformative to an individual's financial position.

Typical reasons for uh investors choosing a listed fund are the daily pricing, the daily liquidity, the flexibility in terms of hold periods and the opportunity to participate in the very strong growth of the underlying assets in the portfolio. And as you'd expect, Europe is a key component of that with a 24 allocation within our fund.

Now, that 24 encompasses a range of underlying investments from European venture capital funds through European buyout funds and all the way through to infrastructure exposure as well. We as a manager of a listed private equity fund, we work with our peers who are members of the listed private capital round table within Invest Europe to promote the listed sector to a whole range of investors who we think could benefit from the opportunity to buy into highquality portfolios at a substantial discount to their net asset value.
