Many investors are still hesitating when it comes to integrating sustainability and ESG into their Investments my name is Andreas Nilsson I'm head of impact investing at Golden Capital I've been working with private equity for almost 30 years since 1996 and have spent the last 15 years focusing on how to integrate sustainability into private Equity investing.
I see a great challenge in that many investors are still hesitating when it comes to integrating sustainability and esg into their Investments and also taking the step towards investing into these types of companies that bring new technologies to the market that we need and in doing so I fear that they are risking the capital that they're managing and that missing this massive trend that is coming atas could be something of a NOA moment for some of these investors what I would like to see is really that impact investing is a significant part of every longterm Financial portfolio. You know when you drive your car you can either look forward seeing what's coming at you be prepared for new turns new challenges out there on the road or you just spend all your time looking in the rear view mirror looking where have been and that is I think a pretty ugood analogy for what some investors are doing they're looking for 20year track records what has worked in the past we should stick to that I say that is very unlikely that that will be working in the future
